Graduate students
Please note that we can only accept current or prospective students admitted to the Physics or Applied Physics graduate program at Caltech. If you are interested in joining our group, you should apply to either the Physics or the Applied Physics graduate programs at Caltech. Application deadlines are typically in December.
Postdoctoral researchers
Besides funding through the group, there are also several postdoctoral fellowships at Caltech (application deadlines typically in November):
- IQIM Postdoctoral Fellowship
- AWS Quantum Postdoctoral Fellowship
- Caltech Postdoctoral Prize Fellowships in Experimental Physics or Astrophysics
For postdoctoral researchers who have completed their Ph. D. in Germany, another attractive opportunity is the Feodor Lynen Research Fellowship (Alexander von Humboldt-Foundation).
Undergraduate and international students
Once our group is fully up and running at Caltech (approx. Spring 2025), we will also have opportunities for undergraduate students and international students to join our group.
